Neos Marmaras is the largest seaside village in the second peninsula of Halkidiki, Sithonia. It is the most cosmopolitan place in Sithonia only 5 minutes away from Camping Castello by car. Every year thousands of tourists visit and are enjoying the beautiful beaches, the beautiful scenery, the nature of the surrounding mountains, the nightlife and the romantic walks on the streets with a view of the small island Kelifos, the first peninsula of Halkidiki, and the mountain of Gods, Olympus.
Parthenonas
The traditional village of Sithonia
Parthenonas is a quaint historical village located at an elevation of 350 m on the side of the mountain about 6 km outside Neos Marmaras, and only 20′ by car from Camping Castello. Well worth doing as a day hike. Or if you have transportation, you can just go for dinner at a tavern in Parthenonas and get an amazing view of the sea and sunset.
